When we get curious as to what our fellow brothers and sisters here on earth are in need of, what their unique gifts, talents and resources are, and how we can assist and empower them to thrive in their bodies, families, communities…their LIVES…we are truly choosing to see how we are all connected. There is no “us” and “them”. We are united in this wanting of abundance FOR ALL, not just some.
I can’t remember the exact moment when I realized this. I suppose it doesn’t matter. What matters is the choice I’ve made to make a difference in as many lives as I can — when I can, how I can. For me that looks like a variety of things. It could be my time, my energy, my money, my listening, my prayers, my… Whatever I can to be of service to who or what my attention is upon. I know there are others reading this that feel the same way. To you I say, “I am honored to share the journey with you”.
Each of us can serve in our own unique way. We all have something to offer. (Yes, I said all…and I do mean it…even you, thinking you don’t). We just need to find something that we are passionate about. Does “passionate” seem like it’s too big of a word to dive into? Okay, how about, “What matters to you?” “What do you care about?” “What breaks your heart?” Then look at your personal skill set, your gifts/talents, your time, your money, etc. Then..connect the dots. (With this, I may be able to help you).
I was honored to be the Seva Ambassador for the 5 years I taught at Burn Athletic, then at Republic of Yoga for 3 years. My role was to seek out, and arrange to support, local organizations that were looking for volunteers and/or assistance in some way. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to do this. It’s important for me to have this in my life, as it feeds my soul. I have been blessed to have such an amazing community that joins me in these love-filled adventures. As I am not currently teaching at a studio, I have decided to move forward with this work in whatever way the Universe is wanting. Keep an eye out for events here. Let me know if you’re interested in being a part of a Karma Krew and I will make sure you stay informed.
You will find future events here, as well as some photo albums from past events. Take a look.
